Only a few days after Deadline Hollywood reported that it was a done deal and Summit Entertainment would be filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in two parts comes word that none of the main actors (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner) have signed on to a fifth film, and the studio is not yet ready to make a decision on whether or not they'll be splitting up the final installment in the Twilight franchise.

One of the reasons why the studio isn't ready is because they still haven't made deals with Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner, according toThe Hollywood Reporter. And since a fifth film wasn't part of their original contracts – not to mention that they're all certifiable movie stars now – in order to secure the trio, Summit will most likely have to dish out a pretty penny (I'd say upwards of $15-20 million for all three).
Realistically, though, Summit can more than afford to pay up, especially considering the kind of money they've already made off this franchise. Splitting the final film into two installments, as well as shooting in 3D, would also help double or maybe even triple their box office grosses. We've been told to expect a decision soon, perhaps even by the end of this month – especially if they want to shoot in the fall.

I hope it stays as two movies. Summit has made bank on the saga and I think they can afford to pay for a second installment. Thoughts?
