Michael Welch Announces "I will be back" for 'Breaking Dawn' Part 1
Michael Welch let fans of his know, via his official twitter page, that he will be back for Part 1 of Breaking Dawn. He also mentions that he doesn't have confirmation for part 2...YET. I am personally glad to see we have the same Newtdawg back. It wouldn't of been the same with out Mike Welch.
After Rami Malek's announcement on ET and this new declaration, be looking for the casting floodgates to open wide. More Breaking Dawn casting news coming soon.

he shouldn't be in part two :s unfortunatly mike is only there for the wedding, we don't see any of the school "humans" after the wedding :( its the big farewell scene to the people bells has to leave behind

It is great that Michael will be back. But depending on where Parts 1 & 2 are divided, is it not possible that he may not need to be in Part 2? I don't recall Mike being in the book after the wedding. Your thoughts?

I agree Mike is only there for the 1st part of the book it makes sense if he is not there for the second part

No High school humans after the wedding, in the book!!! So mike WON'T be in part 2. And the movie Will most likely be split up after the bith, at the first sight of renesme, or after alice's vision that there coming, all of them for the Cullen clan.
