Stina Riz's Weekly Fanfiction Recommendation!

Welcome Stina Riz's Weekly Fanfiction Recommendation blog post. Each week I'll recommend a piece of Twilight fan fiction, giving my opinion and rating it on a scale of one to 10 fangs with one fang being a dud and 10 being absolutely dazzling. Story Name: "Blood Lines" by windchymes
Rating: M
Summary: With just weeks to go before the wedding, Edward reveals a secret from his human life which leaves Bella shocked and wondering just how well she knows the man she is about to marry. This is very much an Edward and Bella love story.

What I think: This is one of the most unique fanfiction pieces I have ever read. Its different, but it still able to stay in character. If you are looking for smut this won't be for you. But, if you are looking for a story with a plot, great character development, and lots of Edward and Bella fluffiness, this is for you! I think its a must read, this story is so deep it actually made me cry because you can truly feel the love between Edward and Bella as they face the challenges that aren't stacked in their favor. Don't be put off by the shocking first chapter, seriously, its one of the best stories out there.

Story Name: "The Woods are Lovely, Dark, and Deep" by bananapancakes7
Rating: M
Summary: Bella visits a quiet lodge in Forks and she meets the secretive, tormented Edward Masen. Just as their relationship transcends friendship, Edward’s past comes back to haunt him in the most brutal way. B&E are human, but oh…there will be vampires. AU.

What I think: I normally don't read stories where Bella and Edward are both human. But this story is so captivating and well written, that I was able to overlook it. I am so glad that I did, because even though this Bella and Edward are out of character, they still retain some of the characteristics that are pertinent to their individuality. Bella suffers from low self esteem, but actually has a backbone in this story, and Edward is self loathing, but for a completely different reason. The story also nods to certain moments in Twilight but plays them out in a completely different way.
My rating: 8.5/10

Every character...but it has the original characters and their personalities, it fits the basic synopsis (Edward can't get with Bella even though it's obvious to everyone the she would die for him)..

I usually don't read all human...but I LOVED this one. Best fanfic I've ever read.
