Would Edward still have fallen in love with Bella if she was fat?

Haha, offcourse! Edward was willing to keep Bella human and would have loved her as an old grannie of eighty. Bella was the one with the vanity issue.
And Edward is absolutely fascinated with Bella's mind...In midnight sun he describes that her reactions keeps him interested.
Kristen has spoken out about the fact that she is concerned about girls that idoloze her skinniness. She doesn't like the idea that girls think that she doesn't eat.She does eat but her bodytype and metabolism is fast.
From reading the whole saga many times I can answer with certainty that Edward is not shallow and loves Bella no matter what! So Edward would of loved and been with Bella of she had more junk in her trunk for sure! ;)

Yeah because it was her blood and the fact that he couldn't hear her mind that got him interested in the first place, i think he would love her no matter what, just like he said he would when she turned old.

I agree with @Skyler807 that Edward would have loved Bella no matter what she looks like. As far as real men go if a guy doesnt like you because of the way you look then he's not worth having.

Hm, this is going to sound sketchy, but no. I don't think that he would have. I think this because vampires have this idea of perfection. Sure, Edward was attracted to Bella for her flaws, but not her physical flaws. He first noticed her because of Bella's mind. Then he noticed her. Edward saw her beauty. Now, I'm not saying that heavier people aren't beautiful because they are (look at Queen Latifah!), but I think Edward saw Bella as beautiful because she is a reminder of his own kind. She's small, pale, and her skin is flawless. I can tell you that if Bella were bigger, I don't think the series would have gone anywhere. Seriously, how many famous heroines are heavy? It's a shame there aren't many! It's an interesting factor.
